Ninilchik Fishing Boats

Based in Ninilchik, Alaska and the Kenai Peninsula

The charter begins with a short ride from Reel 'em Inn to the beach at Deep Creek on the shore of central Cook Inlet. Due to the large tide changes in Cook Inlet, there is no harbor or ramps. Instead, the fishery in Ninilchik is made possible by large tractors which launch and retrieve our boats in the surf. This unique tractor launch system makes it possible to be in the halibut and salmon fishing grounds without the long boat rides fishermen experience when using harbor locations elsewhere. By utilizing the tide tables and knowledge of the currents, we are able to have lines in the water catching fish in minutes instead of hours. Charter boats and trailers in Ninilchik are limited in size and weight because of this unique launch system and carry a maximum of 6 fishermen.

You’ll be Alaska charter fishing from our newly updated fleet of custom designed 27ft and 28ft fishing vessels equipped with powerful twin outboard motors. Our boat trailers are specially designed to be surf launched in the salt water. Our guides and deckhands give each client onboard a full briefing about the location and use of all the safety equipment before entering the water.

Our Alaska Charter boats are fast, reliable, comfortable and safe. Each has fully enclosed cabins with clean restroom facilities, and a large open fishing deck with custom designed rod holders. Our charter fishing vessels are equipped with state of the art electronics including radar, GPS, fish finders, depth sounders, VHF radios, cell phones, high quality fishing gear and all Coast Guard required safety equipment.
